Insulating poles

Insulating telescopic poles are one of the components of the work rope installation equipment system. Apart from them, there are also hooks, working heads, auxiliary ropes and rope installers. In addition to providing a high level of protection against electric shock, they make the work with rope installers very convenient, fast and effective. Additionally, insulating poles can be used with acoustic sensors or other devices that are compatible with UDI heads.

Insulating poles - specifications

Insulating poles available on the PROTEKT website are characterized by a number of properties that prove their safety and impressive usability. This is thanks to special design and materials they are made of (glass fibre, polyamide, PUREX WG-4537E A). The most important features of individual insulating poles include:

  • The Certificate of Testing Laboratory No. AB 272 (poles were tested by the High Voltage Laboratory of the Institute of Power Engineering in Warsaw);
  • When talking about insulating poles, the working range amounts even up to 9374 mm;
  • The maximum rated voltage: 440 kV (1 kV for DT901 UDI fixed pole)
  • High mechanical resistance to stretching (1323-1500 N), twisting (12.5 Nm) and bending (150-438 Nm).

All poles come with a convenient and durable bag that facilitates transport.
