RUP 505-U - Universal Rescue Capstan

The RUP505-U universal evacuation capstan consist of:
a)    Harken Lokhead capstan which provides lifting and lowering a 10mm diameter polyamide working rope. Device is equipped with a connection set (adaptor RUP505-300 and RUP505-08 plate) and UTB connection plate AT017-330. That’s allows installation to the UTB universal bracket (AT017-300). Capstan is equipped with an automatic brake and mechanism for safe lowering of the rope,
b)    Polyamide static rope (rope sold separately) with diameter of 10mm comply EN 1891/A standard (e.g. PROTEKT PA100-10-K-24 rope).
The length of the rope is not limited and can be installed on the drum at any point along its length, which makes it possible to provide the end of the rope immediately to the required place and immediately undertake, for example, a evacuation procedure without time consuming unwind the rope from the drum. The device is used for lifting goods. Permissible working load during lifting (WLL): 500kg. When using additional pulley TU415/TU416 the working load during lifting (WLL) can be increased to 1000kg. The device can be used for lifting and lowering of persons as well as for evacuation when an additional braking device of the WR / CR / CRW series is used. Permissible operating load during lifting/lowering of persons (WLL): 140kg.

NOTE: TO MOUNT THE DEVICE TO A TRIPOD AN UTB - UNIVERSAL TRIPOD BRACKET (ref. AT017-300) IS REQUIRED.
UTB is sold separately.
