The safety of work performed at height with the use of work ropes often requires the use of specialised protective rope sleeves. The purpose of this type of equipment is to prevent abrasion of rope when they come into contact with other surfaces such as sharp edges or tree bark.

Protective rope sleeves — quality of workmanship
The risk of work rope abrasion during work at height is particularly high when the ropes are in direct contact with sharp or rough surfaces. An effective solution in this regard is the use of protective rope sleeves, which properly protect the rope from mechanical damage. For this purpose, the protective rope sleeves must be made of a strong material which itself is as resistant to abrasion as possible. Therefore, PROTEKT offers sleeves made of natural leather (also available with reinforced PVC).
